Course Main Course
Cuisine Mexican

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 4-8 each tortilla wraps

Toppings

  • 1 medium red bell pepper
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 4 ounces cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Using a large skillet over medium heat, begin browning the ground turkey. Mix seasonings in a small bowl, add to ground turkey and stir to combine. Continue to break apart the turkey as it cooks into a crumble.
  • Meanwhile, prep veggies by dicing or slicing peppers, peeling and grating carrots, lightly chopping spinach and grating cheese. Keeping separate, set aside.
  • Once turkey is no longer pink, fill tortillas and add toppings.
  • If a traditional taco is not what you are looking for, use the ground turkey to make a taco salad.
