Throughout my years of being a personal trainer, I always heard clients talk about how they “don’t want to bulk up.” Don’t be afraid to use weights, and use them often because this will not only add on muscle it will boost metabolism, increase overall strength, improve bone density, improve posture (ESP when you work with a personal trainer who helps you perform the movement properly), and so much more!

Consistency. Need I say more? Ok, I will add this: even if it’s not the full blown routine you wanted to do, it’s all a part of making a lifestyle change that becomes habitual. 

Sure there are lots of great resources out there but remember not everything is going to work for you. You are an individual…be proud of who you are! Your lifestyle, your schedule, your preferences, the way your body responds to a workout or a meal is all different. So, don’t get discouraged when the latest TikTok trend does not work for you.

Seek a professional and learn what works for you. Happy New Year!
