Ground Turkey Taco Recipe
Ground Turkey Tacos
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
- 4-8 each tortilla wraps
Toppings
- 1 medium red bell pepper
- 2 medium carrots
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- 4 ounces cheddar cheese
-
Using a large skillet over medium heat, begin browning the ground turkey. Mix seasonings in a small bowl, add to ground turkey and stir to combine. Continue to break apart the turkey as it cooks into a crumble.
-
Meanwhile, prep veggies by dicing or slicing peppers, peeling and grating carrots, lightly chopping spinach and grating cheese. Keeping separate, set aside.
-
Once turkey is no longer pink, fill tortillas and add toppings.
-
If a traditional taco is not what you are looking for, use the ground turkey to make a taco salad.
